HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY MY LITTLE GIRL

Hair, hair more hair pls !

After giving birth to JH, my dear fine hair has been thinning ever since. In my desperate attempt to look better in the coming Chinese New Year, I perm my hair . And the verdict for my bravery…….

Me: “ Is my hair nice “

Hubby: “ Not bad “ ( Forever the PR answer)


Me: “ Is my hair nice ?”

Nai Nai: “ 挺美”

Me: “ Jx, is mama’s hair nice ?”

JX: “ U look like nai nai”

They say children never tell lie,…right ! That goes my investment.

Yippee, JX has grown up !

She enjoy dolling up now. This is good news for me because she is always a tomboy and Nai Nai once commented that she is “bull”. I used to chase her around the house but now she will come to me and request me to tie up her hair. After which, she will ask me if she is beautiful. The only problem is that she has not much hair and I can only think of two pony tail for her, not much variety for her.

Any mummy has any ideas or can share any website where there are children models that I can look for ideas ?

Now I have a real life Barbie doll to play with !

Mei Mei (JH) likes to sink her teeth at anything. She will crawl to u and bite, ouch! She will bite during her meal time, ouch ! Is she teething now ? Don’t think so, can’t feel anything hard on her gums.

Do they have any law regarding kids abusing adult, need to check my rights !

JX: “ I want to go to Nai Nai hse.”

Mummy: “ Why ?”

JX: “ To play with Kor Kor and Jie Jie”

Mummy: “ Khor Khor and Jie Jie not at Nai Nai hse, remember !”

JX: “…………...”.

JX was shouting today to express her anger. I have forgiven her as she was on medication for her cough and running nose. Mei Mei (JH) has learnt the trick and she is shouting to get attention now.

JX has started her dance class at a Dance Company. They are a non profit dance organisation and all the teachers are professional dancer with a passion to dance. We have attended two lessons so far and she is enjoying every moment of it.

What I like about this children dance theatre class is that all the children get to dance with the professional dancer during the yr end dance drama. I hope by exposing her early to stage experience would encourage her to have more self confidence and more daring. Looking forward to the year end dance drama! 加 油 JX !

PS : Last Year dance drama was “ Who’s playing with the sea” at Esplanade.

U got to learn to self entertain yourself, JX! U will learn from now on.

Kor Kor and Jie Jie (cousins)has been your playmate since the day you are born. They have taught u many things, good and bad. Because Jie Jie is going to Primary school this year, so they are not coming to Nai Nai hse anymore. I have prepared u for this day since a few months ago, but still u are quite sad.

The house is quieter and emptier now, how I missed them too! 

JX is looking forward to this day since a year ago.

Your cousin Claire and Harold have been taking Uncle Peh’s school bus to school every morning and u have been sending them off at Nai Nai hse. Uncle Peh has been such a familiar term to u, every time u see a bus, u would say it is Uncle Peh’s bus. Because of this, sending u off first day to school was such a breeze, so proud of my darling girl.
